Saving Bonds

This type of investment is very similar to a term deposit. It can be redeemable (generally lower interest rate) or non-redeemable by the issuer (e.g.: 1, 3, 5 or 10 years).

Savings bonds are typically issued by governments in Canada, Quebec, and Ontario.
